Description
Ground Strap Kit. New. Fits 1966-1977 Ford Bronco’s.
Bad grounds are one of the most common, if not, the most common cause of electrical problems. Solve those issues with this 3 piece ground strap kit. Kit includes an engine to chassis strap, (the thickest strap) An engine to firewall strap, (smaller short strap) And a firewall to dash strap. (the longest, thinnest of the 3)Â
Instillation is a breeze, We attach the straps in the following locations:
-Engine ground will attach to the same bolt that your negative battery cable attaches to, Then either self tapping screw or drill, tap, and bolt the strap to the top of the passenger frame rail.Â
-The engine to firewall strap bolts to the last intake manifold bolt (back of the engine) Then, drill a 5/16 in the firewall within reaching distance of the strap. insert a 5/16 bolt through the firewall.Â
-The firewall to dash strap will use the same firewall bolt as the engine to firewall strap. Simply slide one end of the strap on the bolt on the inside of the firewall and a nut to secure it. The other end will be bolted or self tapping screwed to the bottom of the dash panel.Â
A simple yet effective upgrade to any Bronco!Â
